In PlanSafe, Induction Requirements determine the training requirements for learners including what courses they must complete and how often they must complete the courses, along with any prerequisites and dependencies. Induction requirements are specific to each Worker Type (e.g. Occupants, ECO Members, Contractors, etc.).
To modify the Induction Requirements for a Worker Type, go to the Worker Types menu under Setup. Once on this page, you can click on the desired Worker Type and click the Induction Requirements button at the top-right of the page.
From this page, you can add new Induction Requirements for each location or edit/delete existing ones as required. To add a new one, press the Add button up the top-right. Once you're happy with your changes, save them and it will take effect for learners on the portal.
You will have the following options when setting up Induction Requirements:
- Induction - This is the course that the Worker Type is required to complete.
- Campus - The location that the Induction is required for.
- Frequency - This setting determines if it is a course that needs to be renewed and how often, or if it's a course that only needs to be completed once per learner.
- Prerequisite Induction - This is used to set any prerequisite courses that the learner needs to complete before completing this one. Note that the prerequisite course needs to be set up prior to being able to use this.
