PlanStudio offers several ways to customise the colour of objects, giving you flexibility and control over their appearance.
1. Enter a Colour Manually
You can manually set a colour by typing a colour name (in lowercase) or a hexadecimal (hex) code directly into the Colour text field. For example, you could type red or #FF001F.
To make an object invisible, simply type transparent into the colour field
2. Use the Colour Picker
Click the colour picker next to the text field to open a more visual interface. From here, you can:
Enter a hex code or RGB values,
Select a colour visually using the palette,
Choose from your recently used colours.
3. Where to Change Colours
Most objects allow colour changes from:
The Inspector panel, if they are configurable (Zones, Detail lines etc.) or
The Themes menu available in the diagram preview, which allows you to override set objects such as Evacuation paths.
These options give you flexibility whether you're setting colours individually per object, per diagram or applying a broader theme to a job.
