By default, PlanStudio uses Bing Maps to provide the latest satellite imagery for configuring your Campuses and to use in your Site plans. In some regions, you may also have access to additional Imagery providers, allowing you to switch sources or even select imagery from specific date ranges.
When satellite imagery is updated, you may notice that the angles or positions of buildings shift slightly over time. When this happens, you can Offset the imagery to match your plans.
Adjust Satellite Imagery
Go to the Site Plan for your campus, In the Plan Editor, click the Settings gear icon located in the top-right corner and select Adjust Satellite Imagery from the menu.
Choose a Map Provider (if available)
Bing Maps will always remain the default provider, delivering the most up-to-date satellite images.
Other providers may allow you to select older imagery from previous dates, which can be useful for specific projects or if higher resolution images are available.
Offset the Satellite Imagery
The position and angle of satellite images can vary between image versions and providers, If you notice that the imagery no longer aligns with your building plans, Use the Adjust option to manually offset the imagery to bring it back into alignment with your buildings.
