The Diagram Preview Page

The Sign Preview page allows you to visualize and fine-tune your diagrams before finalizing and publishing them. 

Accessing the Diagram Preview Page

You can access the Sign Preview page in multiple ways:

Through the Diagrams Tab 

Navigate to the campus page and click on the "Diagrams" tab.

From a Specific Sign

Click the diagram preview button next to a specific sign.

Using the Plan Editor

Select the Evacuation Sign preview button from the right-hand side of the toolbar in the Plan Editor.

Overview of the Sign Preview Menu: Once you're in the Sign Preview menu, you'll find a range of options and tools to help you customize your diagrams. 

1. Undo and Redo: Easily revert or reapply changes.
2. Help Menu: Access tutorials and guides.
3. Diagram Properties: Configure properties for the diagram, also available when selecting an evacuation sign icon on a floorplan.
4. Framing Tool: Zoom in, zoom out, and position the floor and site plan within the page.
5. Margins Tool: Create a buffer around the edge of the template's floor plan area.
6. Layouts Tool: Adjust the positions of icons and text on floor or site plans.
7. Themes Tool: Edit themes (Style) for floor or site plans on a per-sign basis.
8. Clone Settings: Save time by copying settings and layout from a previously configured sign on the current or another floor.
9. Final Exits Tool: Edit evacuation paths on a site plan.
10. Adornments Tool: Add images or text boxes over individual evacuation signs.
11. Publish Button: Available to users with the appropriate permissions. Preview, publish draft and final evacuation signs, and save them as PDFs.
12. Select Diagrams Menu: Jump between current signs on a floor and create new Standalone diagrams through the Add Diagram Button: Standalone diagrams don't have a physical position on a floorplan, like sprinkler layout plans or general floor plan layouts without a "You are here."

Using Standalone Diagrams

Standalone diagrams are diagrams that don't have a physical position on a floorplan. Examples include sprinkler layout plans or general floor plan layouts without a "You are here" indicator.

Finishing Up

Once you've previewed and made the necessary adjustments to your diagrams, click the "Done" button to exit the Sign Preview page and return to the Plan Editor, or use the Publishing Button to Publish and Download your Completed Signs.
